Find the Right Office
- Property values, records or taxes: Contact the Assessor about assessed values and parcel information, or the Treasurer-Tax Collector about tax bills and payments. For recorded deeds, see Property Records.
- CalFresh, CalWORKs or Medi-Cal: Use the Self-Sufficiency Services ACCESS number in the table for applications and case questions. See Health and Human Services for more information.
- Court cases and documents: Use Court Case Search or contact the Superior Court. The court maintains its own records and is separate from the County offices listed below.
- Someone in County custody: Start with Inmate Search. The Sheriff's dispatch and administrative numbers serve other purposes.
For animal services, building permits, road problems or local law enforcement, confirm which agency serves the exact address. Service coverage depends on the location.
